POETRY PROJECT - Week 2 - Poem - MY DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK

My Dog Ate My Homework Ken Nesbitt My dog ate my homework. That mischievous pup. Got hold of my homework and gobbled it up. My dog ate my homework. It’s gonna be late. I guess that the teacher will just have to wait. My dog ate my homework. He swallowed it whole. I shouldn’t have mixed it with food in his bowl. — Kenn Nesbitt www.poetry4kids.com CHILDREN TO TRY READING THE POEM FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES EACH DAY. POETRY PROJECT - week 2 - Poem - BOD, MY FAT CAT

BOD, MY FAT CAT My name is Bod, He´s really very fat. His stomach´s on the floor, And he can´t get through the door! He eats and eats and eats, He just never seems to stop. And when we fill his bowl, Note even one morsel does he drop! His fur is very black With white bits on his face. But he spends most of the time, Curled up in his favourite place. He never runs around, Or sneak or pounce or jump. My big fat cat called Bod, Really is a lazy big fat lump! https://fizzyfunnyfuzzy.com CHILDREN TO TRY READING THE POEM FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES EACH DAY.
